- $4.80
Chinese Yam:
In traditional Chinese herbs, there are four major herbal medicines, which refer to the Chinese yam, Rehmannia, Chrysanthemum, and Achyranthes produced in Huaiqing Prefecture, Henan Province (now near Qinyang, Henan Province). Huai refers to the origin of Henan, which the ancients called Daodi herbs (that is, what we call authentic or real origin). Among them, "iron stick yam" is the famous traditional local specialty Chinese yam, which refers to the Chinese yam produced in Henan, Shandong, Hebei, and other places. Its stems are usually purple-red and contain starch and protein.
