Dual Heritage Representative of Chinese Cultural Heritage and Intangible Cultural Heritage
Guojiao 1573 was specially crafted to commemorate the inclusion of the “National Treasure Cellar Group” and the traditional brewing techniques of Luzhou Laojiao in both the “National Key Cultural Relics Protection Units” (1996) and the “National Intangible Cultural Heritage List” (2006). Originating from cellars constructed during the Ming Dynasty (1573 AD), this liquor is handcrafted using the traditional techniques of Luzhou Laojiao. The blend consists of aged liquors matured for ten to several decades in a natural cave cellar, creating a spirit known for its smoothness, purity, and elegance. It embodies the refined elegance of Chinese liquor culture, with a gentle, smooth, and mildly sweet profile free of impurities.
Encased in crystal glass adorned with a peony design symbolizing grace and nobility, Guojiao 1573 captures the essence of Chinese civilization and the beauty of a prosperous era. Its character is described as follows:
• Smoothness: Richly mellow, softly sweet, and smooth on the palate.
• Purity: Impeccably clean, free from impurities.
• Elegance: The overall tasting experience of Guojiao 1573, “The Taste of China,” presents sophistication.
Tasting Notes
